Historic Dekalb Courthouse Wedding | Laura and David's Stylish Atlanta Nuptials

I’ve been dying to share this amazing DIY wedding with you guys! Firstly, I was blown away by Laura’s aesthetic and execution of her vision. The day was so modern, classy, romantic, and artful. The venues, clothing choices, everything was just LIT!!! But besides that - Laura and David just exude this beautiful energy and love for each other. They ADORE each other - David sang Laura a song during their vows - and being part of their intimate tiny wedding/elopement was so fun for me. Congrats again Mr and Mrs! Enjoy this tiny preview of your day!

Taking the Plunge: Jacob's Well/At Home Backyard Wedding in Wimberly Texas

This is an extra special wedding to me, because this is my cousin Ellen and her beau Zane! Ellen grew up in the home you're about to see glimpses of that is nestled in the hill country of Texas, just outside of Austin. This home was built by hand by my uncle Steve and aunt Lona, and it was truly the perfect place to host such a meaningful, special day! The family did an outstanding job making their property wedding-day perfect. And what about the wedding invites? Ellen designed and illustrated those herself - Lona is an artist and I guess that skill runs in the family!

Jacob's Well is right beside their home - it's a natural spring (which is so many different shades of blue, aqua, and green that it has to be seen in person to really be appreciated). Zane and Ellen actually grew up swimming in this well as children, so it seems fitting and so special to have their vows take place in such a beloved, familiar place. And after they said I do... they just jumped right in! I'm gonna stop blabbering now - go enjoy the photos!

Swamp Thing Themed Woodland Mythical Creature Wedding

I photographed Kristin's sister's wedding last October (you might remember the Big Sur elopement - that was her!) and I was dying to photograph Kristin too. She's such a unique soul and artist - I knew her day would be amazing, but had no idea just how much so. I'm going to let these images speak for themselves, but remember: this was totally DIY, backyard, and pretty much every element Kristin had a hand in creating! So cool. Enjoy!
